Terms of Service for MatchDex

By inviting the MatchDex bot (“the Bot”) to your Discord server or using its features, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please remove the Bot from your server and cease using its features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Bot. By interacting with the Bot, you are agreeing to abide by these terms as well as Discord’s overarching Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Usage Rules

To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Automation: Using user-bots, macros, auto-typers, or any form of automated script to catch cards, farm points, or execute commands.
• Exploitation: Knowingly exploiting bugs, glitches, or loopholes within the Bot’s economy or code to gain an unfair advantage.
• Abuse: Spamming commands to intentionally degrade the Bot’s performance or utilizing the Bot to harass other users.

Consequences: Violation of these usage rules may result in an immediate and permanent blacklist from using the Bot, a wipe of your inventory/points, and a ban from the official support server.

3. Bot Availability & “As-Is” Service

• The Bot is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
• We do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Bot may occasionally go offline for maintenance, updates, or due to unforeseen technical issues.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Bot at any time without prior notice.
• We are not liable for any lost data (such as dropped cards missed during downtime) or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Bot.

4. Moderation & Blacklisting

The Bot developers reserve the right to restrict access, blacklist users, or un-whitelist servers at their sole discretion if they determine a user or server is harming the Bot’s ecosystem or violating these terms.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
